CAROLINA PRIVATE RESIDENCE
The family reported footsteps on the stairs, pans rattling in the kitchen, shadowy figures and an elderly female presence frightening their young grandson.
THE CASE
A woman contacted us with a unique problem. Her family was certain their house was inhabited by a spirit, but had, over the years, made their peace with it. Footsteps coming down the stairs, pans rattling in the kitchen island area and the occasional shadowy figure were part of their existence.
The issue was with her young grandson, who was being frightened by an elderly female entity that made herself known to him on each visit, to the point where he was reluctant to spend any time there. We were asked to look into who she may be and what her intentions were so the boy could again feel comfortable there.
At one point, both Ken and Wendy independently saw what they described as a “distortion” in the kitchen and dining area. The most telling event was an EVP recorded during a session where we sought the identity of the woman and her purpose there. It appeared she was compassionate and understanding about the boy’s fear, and from that point forward there were no further issues in the home. One wonders if this was a family member simply coming to visit a child they never met. We had mixed feelings, but the grandparents were pleased there were no further intrusions.
